The Star in a Jar

Originally this piece looked so different. Less is sometimes more; so, rather than add details, I will often accentuate important structures by removing distractions. “The Star in a Jar” went back to the drawing board and now it reminds me of the nuclear fusion produced in tiny bubbles through the process of sonoluminescence.

This piece has a high gloss finish. Rare for me because of the difficulty involved in photographing the piece for posterity.

Mounted on four of my own hand stretched panels, this piece is acrylic on medium gauge cotton canvas. It comes signed and wired for easy hanging.
